Mia Aflalo is only 5-years-old and has already made her mark on the fashion market and the internet, thanks to her naturally long, beautiful hair. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, the young girl has racked up 53.2k Instagram followers and been featured in British Vogue.

While this level of success could lead to the makings of a diva, Mia’s hairstylist Sagi Dahari told The Daily Mail she’s quite the opposite. “Princess Mia” never complains or argues. Rather, she prefers to “wait patiently and smile at everyone.”

Despite her numerous fans, many people find exposing a child so young to such a level of the public limelight is harmful. One commenter noted “It’s not just the friends you want to impress who go on Instagram, there are bad people everywhere. You are endangering her life as well as her present and future mental health.”

Others disagreed and believed the photos were all in good fun, like one commenter who said: ‘I hardly think this child cares how she looks for random strangers on the internet. She most likely feels beautiful and confident, as she is!’

CB Insights, a data analytics firm, has done something interesting: it used algorithmic analysis to crunch 28 quarter of earnings-call transcripts from General Motors, Ford, Daimler, and Tesla.

The firm was able to make some intriguing observations from scrutinizing calls from 2011-2017, but one result stands out: Tesla spends way more time taking about robots than other automakers.See the rest of the story at Business Insider

Chinese investors will put $1.5 trillion into assets abroad over the next decade.
About half of that will likely go into foreign property, often in the US, Canada and Australia.
Home prices have soared under foreign buying pressure, and politicians are finally admitting it.

The “waterbed effect” of money flows.

Top residential real estate brokerages in the US have been promoting US homes to investors in China for years. Brokerage firms in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries have done the same. Commissions are at stake! They have set up units in China and are partnering with Chinese real estate portals, such as Juwai.com.See the rest of the story at Business Insider

More than 40 years ago a beautiful love story began between an Indian artist and a young Swedish woman. After defeating all the odds this beautiful couple is still together. Here’s their story.

Pradyumna Kumar Mahanandia was born an “untouchable” in a remote village of India in 1949. According to prophecy, told by an astrologer after Kumar’s birth, he was meant to marry a musician woman from a faraway country, who is born under the zodiac sign of Taurus and owns a forest. “I believed strongly in the prophecy and now know that everything is planned on this planet,” Kumar told National Geographic.

The man remembers very clearly the day when prophecy came true. The beautiful story began on December 17, 1975. Back then, Kumar was a street artist. A beautiful blonde woman with blue eyes, named Charlotte Von Schedvin, asked him to draw a portrait of her. “When she appeared before my easel, I felt as though I didn’t have any weight. Words are not accurate enough to express such a feeling,” he said. “Her eyes were so blue and big and round, I felt as if she was not looking at me, she was looking inside me, like an X-ray machine!” The nervous young man couldn’t properly draw a woman of his dreams the first time, so he asked Charlotte to come back another day. “She ended up coming back three times and I did three portraits, ” he said. “After the second time, I felt, she’s the one!” Turns out the mysterious foreign woman was born under the sign of Taurus, owns a forest and plays the flute, just as the prophecy said. “You will be my wife. We were destined to meet.” Kumar told her.

Charlotte, who was 19 years old at the time, wasn’t scared of this unexpected confession and decided to give the young man a change. The couple spent 2-3 weeks together before Charlotte came back home to Sweden.

The love story could’ve ended there, but young and determined Kumar decided not to let it happen. After a year and a half spent apart, the artist sold everything he had and bought a bicycle. With very little money and the help of a few kind people he met on the way, Kumar managed to travel 6,000 miles to see Charlotte. “The biggest obstacle was my own thoughts, my doubts,” he said.

The two lovers ended up getting married and have been together for more than 40 years now. The couple has raised two children together and their love is as strong as ever.

Six months ago Mamoudou Gassama, 22, was back in his home country of Mali, dreaming of following in the footsteps of many of his countrymen to build a new life in Paris. Now, the undocumented immigrant is being hailed as a hero, and will today meet the President amid calls for him to receive his papers and be allowed to officially settle in France.

It all started on Saturday afternoon, as Mamoudou was walking home from the famous Gare du Nord railway station. He came across a panicked crowd of people, looking on with terror as a 4-year-old boy was dangling precariously from a balcony, four storeys up. Without a thought for his personal safety, Mamoudou leapt into action and began to climb the building with incredible ease, something which has earned him the nickname ‘spiderman.’

Speaking to Le Parisien, Mamoudou explained what was going through his mind during his daring rescue. “I did not think of the floors, I did not think of the risk,” he said. “I did it because it’s a child. I really like children.”

In addition to a personal ‘merci’ from President Macron, Mamoudou also received congratulations from the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, who posted on Twitter: “Congratulations to Mamoudou Gassama for his brave act that helped save a child’s life last night. I had the pleasure to talk with him today by phone, to thank him warmly.”

It seems like Mamoudou’s selfless act has endeared him to the French nation, and will go a long way toward helping him settle in the country. “He explained to me that he arrived from Mali a few months ago while dreaming of building his life here,” Hidalgo also explained. “I replied that his heroic gesture is an example for all citizens and that the City of Paris will obviously be keen to support him in his efforts to settle in France.”

Scroll down to check out the amazing video for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!
